The original carburettor-fed GV 650 Aquila was Hyosung's mid-size V-twin cruiser, with a low seat, belt final drive and a 90 degree liquid-cooled engine. It set up the Aquila name against Japanese 650 cruisers, and its carburettor setup carries a higher compression ratio than the later injected bikes.
